Cabinet Gallery FAQs
Will I see the grain pattern after you paint oak cabinets?
Yes, the grain pattern of your oak cabinets will likely be visible after painting. While the paint will provide a fresh and uniform appearance, the natural grain of the wood may still be subtly apparent, adding a textured and authentic touch to the finished look.
Do I have to empty my cabinets?
No, you don’t have to empty your cabinets. We simply request that you push the contents back, allowing us enough room to work without the need for a full emptying.
Do you paint the insides of the cabinets?
No, we do not paint the insides of the cabinets. We do this to preserve their functionality, minimize maintenance needs, and prevent potential issues like increased friction. This approach also ensures a more efficient and streamlined painting process with minimal disruption to your cabinets’ interior spaces.
Do you paint the cabinets at home or take them to your shop?
We will spray all of your cabinet doors and drawer fronts in our shop to avoid any mess in-home.
In your home, we will brush and roll all of the cabinet boxes.
Does the paint have a strong odor?
No, we use a low VOC paint in your home, ensuring minimal odor during and after the painting process.
How long will my job take?
Most of our cabinet painting projects do not take longer than 4-5 days to complete. If you have a larger project, we might need to make adjustments to our timeline.
Will we be able to stay in the home during the project?
You are welcome to stay in your home during the project. Many of our customers do! Because we do not ask you to empty your cabinets, you are able to use your kitchen like normal during the entire duration of your project.
